Sirenum Scopuli

This distant voice, the siren that I hear
My own vampire, this shadow I cannot fear
It is with love and sorrow that I do follow

Nightly, this song shrouds my soul
Nightly, death of my hand takes its toll
I do succumb to this constant drum

With melancholy, I watch them die
"the other day, I looked away when you walked by"
I breath her song and the flame burns long

Now, when night is cold and full of life
I am her prisoner and her knife
Until the day that my life falls away
